Delhi Vidhan Sabha 2025: BJP Will Certainly Win More Than 45 Seats
Dr Sunil S Rana
The battle for Delhi has been fierce, but the outcome is now inevitable; BJP will emerge victorious with more than 45 seats. The voting is done, the people have spoken, and now we await the final tally, which, in my firm belief, will mark the end of AAP’s rule and the revival of BJP in Delhi.
Having observed Delhi’s political landscape over the years, I can say with confidence that the winds of change are strong. Delhiites have grown tired of hollow promises, fake propaganda, and governance that thrives on drama rather than delivery. The BJP, through its relentless efforts, has positioned itself as the only viable alternative.
BJP’s Hard Work and Ground-Level Strategy
BJP’s impending victory is no coincidence. It is the result of years of consistent hard work, meticulous planning, and effective execution. Unlike parties that only wake up during elections, BJP has worked at the grassroots level, ensuring that its impact is felt across the city.
1. Modi’s Magnetism: The Unshakable Trust in Leadership
There is no denying it; Modi is the most trusted leader in India today. His vision for development, his ability to connect with people, and his no-nonsense approach to governance have made him the undisputed choice for many voters. Even in Delhi, where state politics has its own dynamics, people believe that a BJP-led government will work in better coordination with the Centre, ensuring smoother governance.
Honestly, when I talk to people, even those who were once skeptical of the BJP, they admit; ‘Modi ji ka kaam dikhta hai’ (Modi’s work is visible). This trust has undoubtedly played a huge role in BJP’s success.
2. Law and Order: Delhi Wants a Safer Future
Delhi has seen a rise in crime, lawlessness, and unchecked violence under AAP’s rule. While Kejriwal has been busy accusing others, BJP has been actively working through the Lieutenant Governor’s office to bring some order.
As a woman, I have often felt that Delhi needs a government that prioritizes safety over publicity stunts. I believe that many voters, especially women and families, have chosen BJP because they want a city where they feel safe, not just one with free WiFi and bus rides.
3. Development and Infrastructure: Actions Speak Louder Than Ads
AAP has mastered the art of advertising, but BJP has mastered the art of execution. From metro expansion to smart city projects, from road development to cleaning the Yamuna, BJP’s central leadership has pushed Delhi’s infrastructure forward.
While AAP kept boasting about free services, people started realizing that freebies don’t build cities; vision and planning do. Ask any business owner, any middle-class family, or even a daily commuter; they know who has truly worked for Delhi’s long-term development.
4. Hindutva and Nationalism: A Strong Emotional Connect
Let’s face it; the rise of the Ram Mandir, the removal of Article 370, and discussions on the Uniform Civil Code (UCC) have all strengthened BJP’s connection with voters who believe in a strong national identity.
Delhi, being home to a huge population of migrants from UP and Bihar, has many voters who align with BJP’s cultural and nationalist vision. The Ram Mandir inauguration alone stirred a deep emotional chord among many voters, making BJP the natural choice.
AAP: The Fall of a Propaganda-Driven Government
There was a time when people genuinely believed that AAP would transform governance. But over the years, it became clear that AAP was more about showmanship than statesmanship.
1. Corruption: The Myth of Honest Politics is Broken
Remember when Kejriwal promised zero corruption? Well, the Delhi Liquor Scam shattered that illusion completely. The arrest of senior leaders, including Manish Sisodia, exposed the ugly truth behind AAP’s so-called clean politics.
People don’t forgive hypocrisy, and AAP’s double standards were on full display. Those who once supported the party for its honesty now feel betrayed and disillusioned.
2. Kejriwal’s Overconfidence and Political Greed
Instead of focusing on Delhi, Kejriwal started dreaming of becoming India’s PM. He spent more time campaigning in Punjab, Gujarat, and Goa than actually governing Delhi.
I often wonder; had Kejriwal actually focused on Delhi instead of chasing national ambitions, would he still have public support? Perhaps. But his overconfidence and hunger for power led to his downfall.
3. The Fake Education and Healthcare Model
AAP’s biggest selling points; education and healthcare; are now being questioned by the very people who once applauded them.
Government schools are failing due to mismanagement and inflated claims.
Mohalla Clinics, once hailed as a revolutionary idea, lack doctors and proper facilities.
Water and electricity woes continue despite tall promises of free services.
Delhiites saw through the lies, and their votes reflected that.
Congress: A Party That No Longer Matters
Let’s be real; Congress is dead in Delhi politics. Once a dominant force under Sheila Dikshit, today’s Congress has:
No strong leadership.
No clear agenda.
No relevance in public perception.
This time, I noticed something interesting; even those who once voted for Congress didn’t consider it a serious contender. Instead, they split between AAP and BJP, further weakening the opposition.
BJP’s Victory: The Public Mandate is Clear
Now that the votes are cast, I have no doubt; BJP will win more than 45 seats.
Why? Because the people of Delhi have decided:
✔ They want strong, stable governance, not freebie politics.
✔ They want safety and security, not hollow promises.
✔ They want real development, not propaganda.
✔ They want leadership that puts Delhi first, not political ambitions elsewhere.
AAP’s gimmicks have failed, Congress is irrelevant, and BJP’s hard work is paying off. As the results roll in, we will witness the beginning of a new era in Delhi politics; an era where BJP leads the capital towards real progress, free from the shadows of deception and false promises.
You are absolutely right, whether they may not gain 45 seats but certainly they will form Government this time by hook or crook.
